Business Development Manager (m/f)

 Key responsibilities

  • Seeking opportunities for business development within a defined area or sector
  • Reporting within the organisation all necessary details in order to do calculation
  • Preparing relevant offer to prospects / customers 
  • Creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements
  • Maintain an understanding of competitors’ products and pricing
  • Building relationships with clients in an attempt to increase their current spend and profits for the company                  
  • Build excellent relationships internally and externally on various decision making levels and across relevant stakeholders
  • Intensive travelling within Germany
  • Direct report to the Marketing & Sales Director

 Expertise and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or economical education or equivalent work experience
  • Sales experience in international B2B environment, ideally in the (corrugated) packaging industry
  • Sound knowledge of corrugated paperboard and its applications
  • Relevant knowledge of the German market for corrugated packaging
  • Willing to travel frequently
  • Fluent command of English and German is necessary, French and any other language would be an asset
  • Experience in working from home office
